FISHING AT SUNDOWN
Maryland
|
Mark, Jeb and I got out to a local pond at around 6:30 PM.
We started with plastics including tubes and worms.
In the twilight we switched over to spinner baits.
Jeb and I caught a fish at the same time, both on a Senko worm.
Ok, it's dark, and this photo has been greatly enhanced to improve
contrast (Microsoft Digital Image Pro). Mark's, Jimmy Houston
kissing pose, looks more like Mick Jagger. I can't figure out how to
get the flash to work on the camera. The pond now has several bats
flying over the open water, and we can hear a chorus of crickets and
frogs. Fish are slapping the surface, and Mark ties on a Heddon
Zara-Spook. It's chugger, Pop-R and Spro frog time! We can barely see anything,
Jeb is whining, but that Spook was the lure of choice,
and was a catching machine. Have you ever tried to pull treble hooks
in the dark? PS: 9:30 PM. I'm reading my Nikon D-70 owners manual regarding my
flash. I think I need a beer to figure this out. |
