POND FISHING IN HOWARD COUNTY, MD

MH and HL Lure testing at the
Cole Pond in Howard County

Conditions: 9:00am Sunny and hot/hazy Outside temp 86 Humidity 68%
Water temp 72 Water clarity medium murky/slightly brown water -Lures used:
Mann's Salt injected hard nose 6" lizard pumpkin color bright green nose
Berkley powerbait 3" pearl power grub Gary Yamamoto custom baits
4" yamasenko watermelon color Gitzit Jig head/short rubber 2 "
tube lure all used with yellow headed jig heads.

 - HL got the first 2 with his Gitzit lures, he loved em so much he's after
another package.  He got multiple other strikes but couldn't seem to hook em.
MH had a very slow start using the Lizard for a while with some very large hits
but again had a tough time hookin em. Then switched over to the
Yamamoto customs with Zero luck (most likely the color).

Then with the Berkley power grub I started getting hits and
finally nabbed a nice Largemouth Bass.
