Blunleaf Sandwort Blunleaf Sandwort (FAC) is a native perennial occurring from New England,
south to Maryland.  The plant occurs in damp old-fields and/or open woods.
From a distance this plant looked like baby's breath or forget-me-not.
It was growing in wet meadows along with goldenrod and really stood out
with its sprays of dainty white flowers.  As I read about the plant it
has apparently been picked for summer bouquets, to near extirpation.
New York Ironweed New York Ironweed  ( Veronia noveboracensis )
Wild Ageratum Wild Ageratum or Mistflower  ( Eupatorium coelestinum )
