Jeb, Mike,
Nick and I went
fishing at a
neighbors
pond from about
7:00 till 8:00
PM.
Jeb used
fresh,
lively nightcrawlers
and caught
this
largemouth
bass and
several
bluegill.
I was
watching a
black
crappie on a
bed and had
Jeb cast
past it and
reel the
worm
directly
sitting in
the middle
of the bed.
The crappie
would have
nothing to
do with that
and
immediately
engulfed the
worm.
Easy
pickings!
I caught a
crappie too.
The bass
bite was
cold.
I pitched
three types
of plastics
and I could
see bass,
but they
would not
commit to
biting.
Crappie were
the only
fish that
were
actually in
spawn mode.
Dramatic
sunset.
The sun has
set and it
is now dusk.

the

Nick caught
this bass on
a Culprit
red-worm.
