Jeb Burchick and Kyle
Hartman take in a hour of local pond fishing on
a breezy, cool Sunday afternoon.
I got this largemouth bass
on a YUM, green pumpkin colored lizard.
When the mother goose saw us
she quietly took her young to the
edge of a corn field along the woods and away
from the pond.
Jeb and Kyle used Berkley
Gulp earthworms, mosquito hooks with bobbers,a nd could have caught bluegill all
day long.
I'd recommend a long shank
hook to make it easier for removal.
Yellow iris at peak bloom
along the shoreline bank.
I saw a good few fresh
crayfish holes/mounds along the shore
so I tried a YUM gray/green with an orange underside Craw Papi crayfish.
After 20 casts I switched to a 6-inch worm and caught
this aggressive hitting bass.
Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Cole,
it's always a pleasure to fish your pond.
