BURCHICK'S TRAP PRACTICE
I
Prior to our regular 4-H
practice, instructors Mark Mason and Mark Burchick worked with
the extended Burchick family. On the line in this photo is Mark
Mason working with Breanna, then Keith, Amanda and Michelle.
Duane Burchick, a competent
rifle shooter, had to work through the issue of cross-eyed
dominance, and as the day progressed, so did his scores.
Breanna was like Annie
Oakley, good form and a good shot. It just came naturally.
Amanda was the same. Her form
allowed her naturally swing through the target, point NOT
aim, and shoot.
NeNu was one of our trap
throwers for the day, and assisted on the bench with
score-keeping.
The family was exposed to
traditional American Trap, beginning from the Lincoln hand
thrower and then the 45 mph blazers coming from the trap
house.
